of a STRAIGHT line drawn from Sutter [south of Warsaw] * The IRBA Sweepstake Year runs from January 1st of a year through December 31st of the same year __________________________________________________________________________ *IRBA members residing in the State of Illinois will have their sweepstake points counted in the District of their home address. *IRBA Members residing outside of the State of Illinois will have their points counted in the District nearest their home address. *Points accumulated by an exhibitor showing in the Open division of a show remain in the Open Division for calculation. Those points accumulated by an exhibitor showing in the Youth Division of a show remain in the Youth Division for calculation. No Open and Youth points earned may be combined. *Any exhibitor, to be eligible for sweepstakes points, must be a member in good standing of the IRBA. *Any IRBA Sweepstake Rule is under the direct supervision of the IRBA Executive Committee. The Sweepstake Rules are not subject to resolution, and any desired change must be made in writing to the Executive Committee *Any member of the IRBA paying for an entry at a show by check will be held responsible for the validity of that check. Should the check be returned to the sponsoring club for insufficient funds, the show sponsors may file a complaint with the Secretary of the IRBA, and the responsible party contacted. If within thirty (30) days after being contacted by the Association Secretary remittance for the insufficient check is not made, the responsible party’s membership may be revoked. Any sweepstakes points accumulated at a show where the entry fee is found to be insufficient will be forfeited until remittance for the entry has been made. Intended Helpful and Informative IRBA Membership Notes Membership dues are renewable on or before January 1st of each year in order to remain current and in good standing. There is an IRBA membership grace period allowed each member renewing, specifically in order to benefit that renewing member the opportunity to avoid any lapse in IRBA Sweepstake Points earned and accumulated towards the current years Sweepstake Year. However, to remain classified as ‘current and in good standing’, dues must be renewed on or before January 1st of the year you are renewing for. Half year IRBA dues fees begin after July 1st of the year applying for or renewing membership. Membership in the IRBA takes effect as of the date your dues arrive in the Secretary’s office. Regardless of the date IRBA membership was paid to a local club, membership becomes effective as of the date it arrives at the office of the IRBA Secretary. ** [For Example Purpose Only: Using the year 2001 and 2002]
